About Marty
I grew up on Youngstown's South Side, tried serious criminal cases for nearly three decades, and learned the hard way that a résumé can become a cautionary tale. After indictments, overturned convictions, house arrest, liver failure, and a transplant, I wrote How Not to Practice Law—not to polish the wreckage, but to tell the story straight. Now I'm building a second act around advanced nuclear law, speaking, and legal education.
